LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- We're serving up a little Los Angeles history with a big dose of fun as we explore the beginnings and the treasures of one of our favorite spots in town, the Original Farmers Market at 3rd Street and Fairfax Avenue.
THE ORIGINAL FARMERS MARKET LOS ANGELES
Since 1934, it's been a real farmers market and now it's so much more, with global cuisines, bakeries, small shops and dessert stops.
PATSY D'AMORE'S ITALIAN FOOD
Patsy D'Amore and his brother Franklyn left New York City and headed over to sunny Southern California to start their business. They brought the first slice of pizza to Los Angeles in 1939.
