Eye on L.A. and Tina Malave discover the best places for festive outings this holiday season in Southern California.

LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- We found a few of the best places for festive outings this holiday season, that could also make great gift ideas. From Disneyland's amazing festivities, to a few new date night ideas, and of course lots of amazing holiday decorations you're going to want to see before the season is over!

Disneyland Festival of Holidays

No one does magic like The Merriest Place on Earth, especially during the holiday season! This year, Disneyland and Disney California Adventure Park are celebrating with the Festival of Holidays and serving up multicultural cuisines, live entertainment, and vibrant holiday decorations, through Jan. 8.

Descanso Gardens Enchanted Forest

Twinkling lights always add to the magic of the holiday season, and this year, Descanso Gardens is offering an interactive, nighttime experience unlike anything else. Enchanted: Forest of Lights is a 1-mile walk through a twinkling forest with 10 distinct lighting displays in some of the most beloved areas of the gardens, through Jan. 8.

Newport Beach Christmas Boat Parade

Celebrate the season at the 108th annual Newport Beach Christmas Boat Parade and Ring of Lights Dec. 14 through 18. Watch beautifully decorated yachts, kayaks, boats, and canoes sail along the harbor in this incredible spectacle that only happens once a year!

Cavalia Odysseo

The Queen Mary's Chill

Ahoy! The Queen Mary's holiday tradition, CHILL, has returned this year with a twist. Not only will you get to visit Santa and Mrs. Claus, you can go ice tubing, ice skating, and see live entertainment. And now, you'll experience their all-new Alice in Winterland, which brings the Lewis Carroll story to life in a re-imagined, interactive and illuminated way.

Disney on Ice

Worlds of Enchantment is a dazzling Disney experience that brings four of your favorite Disney stories to life on the ice! Get into the holiday spirit with Lightning McQueen, Elsa and Anna, The Little Mermaid, Buzz Lightyear and more! Shows in Southern California through Jan. 8.

Rodger's Garden

Rodger's Garden has been reconstructed into a Winter Wonderland where Christmas trees, icicles, and snowy silvers cover the store from head to toe. Everything in the store is so cute it'll be hard not to buy the whole store! The Christmas boutique has festive treasures from all over the world that capture the spirit of the season and could help stuff your stockings to the brim.
