Families build sandcastles together at San Pedro aquarium event

SAN PEDRO, LOS ANGELES -- Dozens of families grabbed buckets and shovel to build sand sculptures for the 7th annual Cabrillo Marine Aquarium Family Sandcastle Day.
No special equipment was needed for the free event.
The aquarium provided the sand, the tools and water.
Families just needed to bring their imaginations.
The aquarium's next free event is a beach clean-up on Aug. 4.
