Fire burns 20 acres in Lake Mathews

LAKE MATHEWS, Calif. (KABC) -- Crews are getting a handle on a more-than 20-acre brush fire burning near Lake Mathews in Riverside County.

It's mostly light grass burning, but there are plenty of flames and smoke for crews to deal with.

A water-dropping helicopter was initially brought-in, but it was released around 8 p.m.

Along with the fire, crews are still dealing with some very warm temperatures.
