Garden Grove investigating suspicious death of woman

GARDEN GROVE, Calif. (KABC) -- Garden Grove police are investigating the suspicious death of a 40-year-old woman whose body was found inside an apartment Tuesday night.

Detectives responded to a residence in the 13000 block of Casa Linda Lane around 8:33 p.m. after the woman's boyfriend called 911.

The woman was pronounced dead at the scene. She has not been identified pending notification of next of kin.

Her boyfriend is being held as a person of interest. An autopsy will be conducted Thursday to determine her cause of death.

The investigation is ongoing. No further details were immediately released.
