GLENDORA, Calif. (KABC) -- A Glendora police officer suffered minor injuries after a chase suspect crashed into his patrol car Saturday night.
Authorities said the chase began around 7:32 p.m. At one point, police said the suspect appeared to purposefully turn his car around and ram the officer's patrol car.
The officer also opened fire, but it was unclear if the suspect was hit. The officer suffered minor injuries in the crash and was taken to a local hospital.
Police said the suspect was a man in his 20s, standing 6 feet tall, with a thin build. He was wearing a black T-shirt, khaki pants and had one shoe on.
He was taken into custody not long after the crash, authorities said.
The investigation was ongoing.
