Pedestrian injured in Hollywood hit-and-run

HOLLYWOOD, LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- A man walking across the street was hit early Saturday morning in Hollywood by a driver who fled the scene.

The incident occurred shortly before 1:30 a.m. at the intersection of Las Palmas Avenue and Santa Monica Boulevard.

It is unclear if the pedestrian was in the crosswalk, police said. He was taken to the hospital with a broken leg.

No vehicle or suspect description was available.
