Anaheim fatal hit-run: Man who struck mother of 8 arrested

ANAHEIM, Calif. (KABC) -- A Buena Park man was arrested Thursday morning on suspicion of a hit-and-run that killed a woman riding her bicycle in Anaheim.

Junior Lopez, 30, is suspected of striking Daniella Palacios, 44, with his pick-up truck, as she was riding her bicycle across the intersection of La Palma and Magnolia avenues on Nov. 1.

Lopez allegedly fled the scene, while Palacios was taken to a hospital, where she died hours later. Palacios was a mother of eight.

Lopez's bail was set at $50,000.
