Hurricane Matthew resembles skull in eerie image

An eerie, infrared image shows Hurricane Matthew resembling a giant skull.

Stu Astro, Senior Director of Weather Communications at The Weather Channel, shared the image on Twitter on October 4. According to Storyful, the image itself was captured via NASA's Earth Science Office.

The image was retweeted over 900 times, with many social media users commenting on the photo.
