ISLA VISTA, Calif. (KABC) -- The manager of a deli where Isla Vista shooting suspect Elliot Rodger allegedly killed a University of California, Santa Barbara student is speaking out about the incident.
Ryan Booth, manager at I.V. Deli Mart, was preparing for a delivery, when he heard a "pop."
"Everyone kind of looked to see what was going on. Then the second shot went off, and we all realized what it was and we all got down," Booth said, noting several more rounds were fired.
One of those shots killed 20-year-old Christopher Ross Michaels-Martinez, who was buying potato chips at the deli.
