LA Rams look to put 'home' in hometown team

LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- With their recent return to Los Angeles, the Rams said they're looking to put the "home" in hometown team.

The organization has looked to engage the community by inviting children to their training camp in Irvine and helping to build a new playground at Woodworth Elementary School in Inglewood.

"It's great to get the players out because it tells Los Angeles there is football here, there are players here and they are a part of the community," Kevin Demoff, the Rams Chief Operating Officer said.

Players said they looked up to football stars in their youth, and hope to be able to return the favor to the children of Southern California.

"I just remember being a little kid and looking up to them and I just want to be a guy that inspires little kids and lets them know we're here for them and it's cool they're out here supporting us," running back and special teams contributor Chase Reynolds said.
