14 rescued from overturned boat in Lake Piru

LAKE PIRU, VENTURA COUNTY (KABC) -- Fourteen people were rescued after a boat overturned in Lake Piru on Sunday.

No one was seriously injured, Ventura County Fire officials said.

Nine of those rescued were taken to area hospitals. Everyone on the boat was accounted for, and were alert, awake and breathing, fire officials said.
