Los Angeles is home to hundreds of quality eateries that deliver, but if you live in or around Koreatown and don't want your dinner to get stuck in traffic coming across town, you should consider ordering from someplace local.

To give you a sense of what's out there, we rounded up our five favorite delivery spots in the neighborhood.

Guelaguetza
3014 W Olympic Blvd.

If you're craving Mexican food, and specifically mole, check out Guelaguetza's menu.

With killer mole negro, rojo, verde and amarillo, there are many delicious menu items to choose from. We recommend the Estofado (chicken or pork covered with sauce made from tomatillos, chiles, raisins, olives, and spices) or the Coloradito (chicken or pork covered with sauce made from chiles, nuts, seeds, spices, and Oaxacan chocolate). Both dishes are served with rice.

If you're feeling indecisive, give the Tamal Oaxaqueño a try. It's a tamale with chicken and black mole wrapped up in a banana leaf, and served with rice and beans.

Hangari Kalguksu
3470 W 6th St.

A Koreatown staple, Hangari Kalguksu serves up a robust menu of rice and noodle dishes. We recommend starting with the steamed dumplings or the spicy Dduk Bok Gi before moving onto the Yulmu Bibim Guk Su or the Bi Bim Bap.

Roll Call
3183 Wilshire Blvd.

Delivery sushi may not sound like your cup of tea, but if you don't want to roll yourself over to a sit-down restaurant, than why not have some sushi rolls delivered to you?

Try the Sexy Roll (spicy tuna, shrimp, tuna, cucumber, scallions with a soy-mustard dressing) or the Salmon Double Trouble (salmon tempura and avocado roll topped with salmon sashimi, sliced jalapeños, sweet mayo with eel sauce).

If you're looking for another option, we recommend the Sukiyaki Beef Bowl (steamed rice topped with thin slices of beef and onion simmered in sweet sauce and topped with a fried egg) or the Poke Bowl (sushi rice, avocado, crab, seaweed salad, gobo, cucumber, radish sprouts, and sesame seeds with either tuna or salmon).

Dok Dok Chicken/Lee's Noodles
401 S Vermont Ave.

If you're familiar with the neighborhood's food scene, Dok Dok Chicken and Lee's Noodles are already on your radar.

Our favorite menu items include the Chicken Teriyaki Dinner, the Deep-fried Pork with Sweet & Sour Sauce and the Mapo Tofu with Rice. If you're ordering during your lunch hour, consider the Kimchi Fried Rice Box Lunch or five pieces of the fried drumsticks.

Regardless of what you choose for your main course, don't forget to try either the Fried Candy Bar or the Fried Twinkie (or both) for dessert.

Koreatown Pizza Company
3881 Wilshire Blvd.

Who are you kidding - you want pizza. And if you want pizza and you're near Koreatown, Koreatown Pizza Company is the place for you.

Begin with Mr. Pizza's Legendary Sampler, which includes spicy hot wings, tangy BBQ wings, honey-glazed teriyaki wings, potato skins, golden cheese sticks and country-style potato wedges served with all kinds of dipping sauces.

For pizzas, we like the Greek Gold Pizza (tomato sauce, feta cheese, red onions, bell pepper, diced tomato, olives and slivers of fresh garlic topped over a sweet potato mousse crust) and the Bulgogi Pizza (marinated ground beef, onions, bell peppers, mushrooms, tomato sauce and mozzarella cheese)-but there are plenty of options for any taste.
