2.9-magnitude earthquake strikes Running Springs

The United States Geological Survey said a 2.9-magnitude earthquake struck near Running Springs in San Bernardino County on Tuesday, April 26, 2016.

An earthquake with a preliminary magnitude of 2.9 struck about seven miles northeast of Running Springs in San Bernardino County early Tuesday morning, the U.S. Geological Survey said.

The shallow temblor struck at 1:07 a.m. and had a depth of two miles.

There were no immediate reports of damage or injuries.
