Montebello police say 'no crime' after apparent standoff

MONTEBELLO, Calif. (KABC) -- Montebello police say there was no suspect and no crime after an apparent standoff outside a business in Montebello.

Montebello police say they responded to a "man with a gun" call. A SWAT team responded to the scene in the area of Greenwood and Washington at about 11 a.m.

By 2:50 p.m., police said the incident was over, and they determined that a crime had not been committed.
