GARDENA, Calif. (KABC) -- A motorist struck a California Highway Patrol officer's cruiser on the northbound 110 Freeway in Gardena early Friday morning and then fled the scene, authorities said.



All northbound lanes of the 110 Freeway were closed between the 91 Freeway and W. Redondo Beach Boulevard.



The drive was temporarily slammed from the 405 Freeway, and all traffic was being diverted onto the 91 Freeway. All lanes were reopened shortly before 7 a.m.



The CHP officer was treated for minor injuries. No further details were immediately released.
