'Glee' actor Mark Salling arrested for child porn
Actor Mark Salling, best known for his role as Noah "Puck" Puckerman on "Glee," has been arrested for possession of child pornography, Los Angeles police said.

SUNLAND, LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- Actor Mark Salling, best known for his role as Noah "Puck" Puckerman on "Glee," was arrested and booked on suspicion of possessing child pornography, Los Angeles police confirm.

The LAPD's Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force served a search warrant at the 33-year-old's home in the 9900 block of Helen Avenue in Sunland at about 7 a.m. Tuesday.

Detectives had received an anonymous tip and then searched his home. Neighbors and fans of the show were shocked to hear about his arrest.

Salling posted a $20,000 bail by the afternoon and is scheduled to be arraigned on Jan. 22.
