WEST LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- An arrest has been made in connection to a series of sexual assaults in Santa Monica and West Los Angeles.
Authorities say 32-year-old Pablo Carlos Pineda was taken into custody on Tuesday at 5:15 p.m. in the MacArthur Park area of Los Angeles.
Pineda is accused in two sexual assaults in Santa Monica on Jan. 13 and Feb. 5, a violent attack in Beverly Hills in the 9000 block of Wilshire Boulevard on April 15, as well as a sexual assault in the 1300 block of Westgate Avenue in West L.A. on July 2.
The arrest followed a multi-agency taskforce investigation involving the Santa Monica Police Department, the Beverly Hills Police Department, the LAPD and the FBI's behavioral analysis unit.
Pineda was booked at the Santa Monica Jail and was being held on $385,000 bail.
