Mill Fire in Mentone nears full containment

MENTONE, SAN BERNARDINO COUNTY (KABC) -- Firefighters have made significant progress against a fire that was threatening homes near the Redlands water treatment plant.

The Mill Fire has burned 33 acres and is 85 percent contained, with full containment expected Sunday.

One firefighter had to be treated for heat-related injuries. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
