15-year-old arrested on suspicion of killing 23-year-old Pomona man

POMONA, Calif. (KABC) -- Authorities arrested a 15-year-old Pomona resident Monday on suspicion of murdering a 23-year-old man in an alley last weekend.

Pomona police discovered the body of Nicholas Pletcher in an alley in the 1700 block of Appleton Way on Aug. 21.

Authorities received reports of shots fired in the 1500 block of San Bernardino Avenue that afternoon, but then were called to the location of Pletcher's body.

The investigation is ongoing. No further information on the suspect has been released.
