Woman found tied up in trunk of SUV in Pomona

POMONA, Calif. (KABC) -- Police in Pomona are searching for suspects after somebody left a woman tied up in the trunk of an abandoned SUV Monday night.

Officers say somehow the woman managed to call 911 with her phone just after 11 a.m. Police found the woman by tracking her cell signal to the Dudley Street off-ramp of the eastbound 10 Freeway.

Authorities say the woman told officers that she had been kidnapped. Paramedics took her to the hospital in unknown condition.

Investigators say the case appears to be gang-related. No further information was immediately available.
