SANTA ANA, Calif. (KABC) -- The FBI has released surveillance photos of a suspect wanted for allegedly robbing two banks in Orange County this week.

The first robbery occurred at Farmers and Merchants Bank in the 1200 block of East Katella Avenue in Orange at about 4:20 p.m. Tuesday.

Authorities believe the same suspect walked into a Bank of the West in the 3900 block of South Bristol Street in Santa Ana at about 3:40 p.m. Thursday and threatened the teller with a note claiming he had a gun.

The teller than gave the suspect a pouch with an undisclosed amount of cash, and the suspect exited the bank and walked through the parking lot.

Anyone with information on this investigation was urged to contact police.
