Cancer survivors share stories at 25th annual Komen Orange County Race for the Cure
For those who strive for a cure for breast cancer, they are 25 years strong in Orange County.

NEWPORT BEACH (KABC) -- For those who strive for a cure for breast cancer, they are 25 years strong in Orange County.

Runners, walkers and other volunteers at the 25th annual Komen Orange County Race for the Cure in Newport Beach all have incredible stories they share to help spread awareness.

The event, held Monday, encompasses three races, including two 5Ks and a kids' 1-mile fun run and walk. The goal? $2 million.

The race's expo area also offers health and prevention booths for those wanting more information on breast cancer.

ABC7 is a proud sponsor -- and from those we spoke to -- there was a clear message: There'll be a race until there's a cure.
