1 killed in fiery Palmdale DUI crash

PALMDALE, Calif. (KABC) -- A man in his 30s was arrested Saturday after he crashed into another car and killed a person while allegedly driving under the influence in Palmdale.

The suspect was driving eastbound at about 3:50 a.m. on Sierra Highway at Ave S when he rear-ended a vehicle that was stopped at a red light. The victim's car then caught fire.

One person was killed. It was unknown the number of people who were in each car.
