Victim identified in 7-Eleven shooting in Panorama City

PANORAMA CITY, Calif. (KABC) -- Police have identified Monday one of the two victims of a deadly shooting outside a 7-Eleven in Panorama City last week.

Maron States, 26, of La Puente was killed shortly before 6 a.m. July 17 at a 7-Eleven on Sepulveda and Roscoe boulevards after a brief argument with two suspects.

The other victim, 19-year-old Deshawn Miles, was identified earlier. Both States and Miles died at the scene.

Authorities were still searching for two suspects, including Angel Santana, a known gang member who was described as 5 feet, 7 inches and 150 pounds. Santana is missing his left eye and has tattoos over his left eyebrow, right jaw and right side of his neck.

He drives a tan 2005 Ford F-150 pickup truck, California license plate 7U83839.
