CENTURY CITY, Calif. (KABC) -- People around the world are standing with Paris in the wake of Wednesday's terror attack at the offices of satirical newspaper Charlie Hebdo.
Tens of thousands are attending rallies, supporting freedom of expression.
French nationals, expats and dozens of others gathered outside the French Consulate in Century City Thursday morning and held a moment of silence as a sign of mourning and solidarity.
In addition, vigils and rallies held in Los Feliz and Franklin Village Wednesday night attracted hundreds of people.
Local residents in Southern California say they're amazed at the outpouring of support.
