Missing Pasadena woman with autism found safe in Los Angeles

PASADENA, Calif. (KABC) -- A missing Pasadena woman with autism was found safe in Los Angeles after someone recognized her and flagged down police officers.

Gena Richardson, 46, who has Autism and is bipolar, was reported missing since Wednesday.

Her sister said she went out to do some shopping on Wednesday afternoon, and when she returned home, Gena was gone.

Pasadena police said Richardson was found sitting on a bus bench somewhere in southwest Los Angeles.
