Pokemon Go fans meet up at the Wiltern
The Wiltern Theatre in Koreatown jumped on the "Pokemon Go" craze by hosting a meet-up Wednesday night with game-themed drinks and real-world Pokeball.

LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- Pokemon Go fans gathered for a happy hour event Wednesday night in Koreatown, complete with themed drinks and real-world games.

The free event at the Wiltern Theatre featured hundreds of people sharing their love for the Pokemon Go craze and drinking "Zapdos," "Articuno," "Moltres" and other game-themed beverages. They also played a real-world version of Pokeball.

ABC7 Entertainment Guru George Pennacchio was clearly not a fan. Words with Friends and Coupon Sherpa are more his speed.

But he ran into plenty of people who were.

"I have a staff that plays this obsessively and they got me into it," said Laurie Berger. "Now I'm obsessed. I can't stop."
