WASHINGTON (KABC) -- President Donald Trump may announce a new immigration bill at the White House Wednesday.
The bill is expected to cut legal immigration levels by about half by 2027.
The legislation is also aimed at creating a skills-based immigration system instead of a family-based system, according to the Washington Examiner.
Two conservative senators, Arkansas's Tom Cotton and Georgia's David Perdue, have been working with the White House on the legislation.
