1 man shot to death, another wounded while sitting in parked car in Granada Hills

GRANADA HILLS, LOS ANGELES (CNS) -- A man shot to death and another one was wounded while they were seated Sunday morning in a parked vehicle in Granada Hills, authorities said.

The shooting occurred about 1:50 a.m. in the area of Ludlow Street and Yarmouth Avenue, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

A gunman walked up to the pair, fired several shots and fled the scene on foot, an LAPD spokesperson said.

Arriving paramedics pronounced one man dead at the scene, police said. They rushed the other shooting victim to a hospital, where he had stable vital signs. Both shooting victims were in their 20s.

There was no other immediate information.
