LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- Help prevent lung disease and create a healthy world for all when you join ABC7 at the American Lung Association's Fight For Air Climb.
New this year, lung health supporters and community members will summit the tallest building west of the Mississippi, Los Angeles' Wilshire Grand Center.
On Feb. 22, participating climbers will scale 73 stories from the ground floor to the very top.

"With the recent wildfires in Los Angeles, I think that people think that when the fires are done, the risk to your lung health is over, and that is the farthest from the truth," ALA California executive director Carrie Nash said. "As that cleanup begins, more and more chemicals are released into the air, making everyone in a 20-mile radius susceptible to polluted air."
The association encourages firefighters and other first responders to participate in an extra challenge by climbing in their full gear.
This year, Team ABC7 aims to raise $20,000 to fund life-saving medical research, education and advocacy.
If you'd like to join as an individual or part of an organization, there's still time to register. For a special discount, register here with code Wilshire15.
Eyewitness News anchor David Ono will serve as emcee of the climb's opening ceremony.
The Wilshire Grand Center is located at 900 Wilshire Blvd., in Los Angeles.
