The WNBA trade deadline came and went with only one major move, as the Los Angeles Sparks dealt five-time All-Star Kelsey Plum to the Phoenix Mercury for Monique Akoa Makani and two future draft picks. With the Sparks' season already going off the rails, their odds to win the 2026 WNBA Finals lengthened from 200-1 to 500-1, while the Mercury's improved from 350-1 to 200-1 and they now show +800 odds to make the playoffs.

Meanwhile, the Minnesota Lynx-- holders of the league's best record at 25-6 -- held pat at the deadline and are the first team this season to achieve odds-on title status at -105. Minnesota is on a 10-game winning streak that includes its most recent victory over the Indiana Fever, who improved to 11-1 from 18-1 week over week.

The Las Vegas Aces (+450), New York Liberty (+950) and Golden State Valkyries (+950) all lengthened in the past week to win the Finals, while the Atlanta Dream shortened from 15-1 to 10-1.
