5-year-old child in critical condition after falling into Oxnard pool

OXNARD, Calif. (KABC) -- A 5-year-old child was rushed to the hospital in critical condition after falling into a community pool in Oxnard.

Officers responded to a call of a missing child just after 7 p.m. Monday on Kelp Lane, according to the Oxnard Police Department.

Shortly after that, another 911 call stated that the child was found in the community pool.

First responders performed CPR on the child and transported them to a hospital in critical condition.
