
LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- A 3-year-old boy who was believed to have been abducted by his mother's ex-boyfriend in Southern California has been found, officials said.
It's unclear where Messiah Evans was found or who he was with. An Amber Alert was issued Tuesday morning after he had last been seen Monday near 66th Street and Normandie Avenue in Los Angeles, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The child was believed to be with 38-year-old Joshua Pendleton, who authorities identified as the ex-boyfriend of the boy's mother - not the child's biological father.
