ARCADIA, Calif. (KABC) -- Armed intruders tied up two people inside an Arcadia home and took off with the pair's car and jewelry during a brazen daytime heist, police said.
Arcadia police responded around 12:54 p.m. Wednesday to a report of a home invasion robbery in the 1100 block of West Foothill Boulevard.
"Responding officers learned that four suspects forced entry into the residence through the front door," Arcadia police said in a statement. "At least one suspect was armed with a firearm, and another was armed with a knife."
The four intruders - all men wearing black clothing - tied up the two victims and then stole their jewelry and vehicle, according to police.
After the suspects fled the scene, both victims were able to free themselves and one left the home to get help from a nearby bystander.
The victims suffered minor injuries and were treated by paramedics. Their vehicle was later found in the 1400 block of West Olympic Boulevard in Los Angeles.
One suspect was wearing a reflective safety vest, police said.
Anyone with information on the case is asked to contact the Arcadia Police Department at (626) 574-5151.
