
CITY OF COMMERCE, Calif. (KABC) -- The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department is looking for the driver who hit a deputy in Commerce and then took off early Wednesday morning.
The incident happened around midnight in the area of Washington Boulevard and Fidelia Avenue. According to the sheriff's department, the deputy was struck by a pickup truck while he was on foot patrol.
He was taken to the hospital in stable condition.
The suspect who hit him then crashed into several parked cars nearby in East Los Angeles, authorities said. He remains outstanding.
