El Capitan Theatre switches it up with "Freakier Friday" Fan Event and movie screenings
HOLLYWOOD, LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- One of the summer's biggest Disney events is finally here.
Tickets are on sale now for screenings of Disney's "Freakier Friday" at the El Capitan Theatre.
Guests can enjoy a DJ Dance Party pre-show before the movie and snap a picture at a themed photo op.
Authentic costumes and props from the movie will also be on display.
"Freakier Friday" is a sequel to the beloved 2003 film with a multigenerational twist, starring Jamie Lee Curtis and Lindsay Lohan.
In the film, Curtis and Lohan reprise their roles as mother and daughter Tess and Anna Coleman. As they navigate the challenges that come when two families merge, Tess and Anna discover that lightning might indeed strike twice.

Cancel your plans for Friday's big fan event
The El Capitan Theatre will host a Friday fan event and screening at 7:30 p.m.
There are a variety of tickets offering special event credentials and fun collectibles.
Specialty concession items will also be available for purchase for ticketed guests at all screenings, while supplies last.
"Freakier" fun all month long at El Capitan
Screening Aug. 8-24, at 10 a.m., 1 p.m., 4:15 p.m., and 10:30 p.m.
- Tickets are $22 for adults, and $19 for children and seniors.
- Family four-pack ticket offer is also available for $60.
