Car crashes into preschool in Glendale, injuring eight
A car crashed into a classroom at a preschool in Glendale, injuring multiple people Friday afternoon, officials said.

GLENDALE, Calif. (KABC) -- Eight children were injured after a car crashed into a preschool classroom in Glendale on Friday afternoon, according to officials.

The crash occurred at Grandview House Preschool just before 2 p.m. in the 1200 block of North Pacific Avenue. The preschool has the same address as Temple Sinai of Glendale.

Police said eight children were injured in the crash. Police described the injuries as not life-threatening. The victims were taken to local hospitals but are being released to their families.

Investigators said the crash appears to have been accidental and stemmed from a 79-year-old driver attempting a U-turn in the parking lot.

No arrests have been made.

The crash remains under investigation.
