Arrest made in shooting deaths of 3 men at Hollywood apartment
The suspect ordered the victims to get on the floor before shooting them multiple times, according to LAPD. The three men were found dead days later.

HOLLYWOOD HILLS, LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- An arrest has been made in the shooting deaths of three men at an apartment in Hollywood, police confirmed Wednesday.

The deadly shooting unfolded July 24 at an apartment in the 1900 block of Wilcox Avenue, according to the Los Angeles Police Department. That's where the suspect, identified as 57-year-old Patrick Kevin Spurlock, and the victims were gathered when police say some sort of altercation occurred.

Spurlock ordered the victims by gunpoint to get on the floor before shooting them multiple times, according to LAPD.

The victims, identified as 50-year-old Jeremiah Badecker, 33-year-old Michael Bogacz and Jack Cartenga, were found inside the apartment several days later and pronounced dead.

Spurlock was arrested blocks away from the apartment where the shooting occurred, in the 6600 block of Franklin Avenue, on Friday and booked for murder on no bail.

Police have not released information on a motive for the shooting or what the altercation between the suspect and victims was about.
