HARBOR GATEWAY, LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- More than 70 firefighters responded to a fire at a business in the Harbor Gateway area and contained the blaze Saturday, authorities said.

The fire broke out at a building near Figueroa Street, Rosecrans Avenue and the 110 Freeway.

Video from AIR7 shows crews throwing water on the fire from the roof of a nearby business as thick black smoke filled the air. The Los Angeles Fire Department said crews were using ladder pipes and heavy streams.

Firefighters were able to contain the fire shortly after 1 a.m., according to authorities.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.

No injuries were reported.

The Harbor Gateway was one of several fires that burned throughout the region on the Fourth of July.
