SAN MARINO, Calif. (KABC) -- A couple is going viral for getting engaged at the corpse flower at the Huntington Botanical Gardens in San Marino.

It's an off place to get engaged, but definitely a memorable one.

The flower bloomed just three days ago.

That only happens for 24 hours every two to three years and it boasts a powerful stench, earning its name.
