Man found shot to death at scene of Compton car crash

COMPTON, Calif. (KABC) -- An investigation is underway after a man was found shot and killed at the scene of a car crash in Compton.

Deputies responded to the scene on South Stanford Avenue just before 10 p.m. Thursday. That's where the man was found shot dead.

Video shows a white sedan that appeared to have crashed into a pole on the sidewalk, leaving the vehicle with significant front end damage.

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. He has not been identified.
