Suspect sought after man killed in shooting at East LA gas station

EAST LOS ANGELES, Calif. (KABC) -- A search is underway for the suspect responsible for a deadly shooting at a gas station in East Los Angeles.

The incident happened shortly before 8 p.m. Sunday on East Olympic Boulevard near Indiana Street, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.

When deputies arrived on scene, they found a man suffering from gunshot wounds to the chest. The victim, believed to be 35-40 years in age, was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.
