Man stabbed to death in East Hollywood; investigation underway

LOS FELIZ, LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- A man was stabbed to death in East Hollywood, prompting a police search for the suspect.

Police responded to reports of a deadly stabbing at the corner of Willow Brook and Virgil avenues, directly across the street from a Presbyterian church.

Authorities said the man and the suspect got into some sort of altercation before the victim was stabbed.

The suspect fled the scene in a white truck, according to police. Investigators were interviewing eyewitnesses and searching for surveillance video as part of the ongoing investigation.
