Meta on Wednesday agreed to make major changes to its apps Instagram and Facebook in a landmark settlement resolving a case brought by states that accused the social media giant of designing addictive products for children.

A bipartisan coalition of 51 attorneys general on Wednesday reached a landmark settlement with Meta that will change how young users interact with Instagram and Facebook.
