Search underway for driver who crashed into Woodland Hills building

WOODLAND HILLS, LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- A search is underway for the driver who crashed into the roof and side of a building in Woodland Hills and then took off.

The incident happened early Sunday morning on the northbound 101 Freeway at the Shoup Avenue off-ramp, according to the California Highway Patrol.

Authorities are investigating the incident as a single car hit-and-run crash. No one inside the building was hurt.

Witnesses reported seeing the driver speeding before losing control of the car. Additional details were not available.
