
NEWHALL, SANTA CLARITA (KABC) -- A fire erupted at a restaurant in the Newhall area of Santa Clarita, engulfing the building and several other businesses in raging flames early Monday morning.
The fire was reported around 3 a.m. at the Newhall Refinery on Main Street, according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
A few hours later, AIR7 was over the scene where it appeared the flames had spread to adjacent businesses, including a community theater next door called The MAIN. It's unclear exactly how many businesses were impacted.
Video from the scene showed several firefighters shooting water at the stubborn flames that cast an orange glow around the building and sent thick smoke into the air.
No injuries were reported, and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
