Last year they served 2,997 families at Venice Beach. This year they're going bigger with free diapers, health & dental screenings, youth performers, skate activation & games, and raffles & giveaways.

A Backpack and School Supplies Giveaway will be held on Saturday, July 18, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Celebration Park North in Ontario, offering free backpacks, school supplies, books, food, raffles and giveaways. Backpacks are available while supplies last, limited to one per child, and children must be present to receive them on a first-come, first-served basis. Only a few tickets left, register now.

Family Support Resource Fair and Backpack Giveaway
RivCoDCSS Riverside Branch

The Riverside County Department of Child Support Services (RivCoDCSS) will host a Back-to-School Giveaway on Saturday, Aug. 9, from 8 a.m. to noon at 2081 Iowa Ave. in Riverside, providing free backpacks with school supplies for children ages 3 to 17. Free haircuts will also be available, with all giveaways offered on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last, and families are encouraged to register in advance.
