Terrifying video shows people stuck upside down on ride: 'Get me down!'

OCEAN CITY, N.J. -- People were left dangling upside down after the malfunctioned on the boardwalk in Ocean City, New Jersey.

Riders can be heard screaming of "get me down!" at Playland's Castaway Cove.

Video captured by Caitlin Gulli on July 5 shows several people stuck on the ride.

Gulli said she was visiting Castaway Cove on the Ocean City Boardwalk when she witnessed the ride stop, leaving the riders suspended in the air for approximately five to seven minutes.

"This was the second ride that evening that had malfunctioned, so I was very concerned about this safety of my three children, who were all riding rides that night," Gulli said.
