LONG BEACH, Calif. (KABC) -- A small business in Long Beach has been forced to shut down temporarily after a car crashed into the building earlier this week.
Surveillance video captured a Tesla slamming into Sala Coffee and Wine near Roosevelt Road and Atlantic Avenue.
Long Beach police said the driver of a Tesla was speeding when the car collided with a Honda Accord and plowed into the building. The crash occurred while the shop was closed.
Both drivers involved in the crash were hospitalized with injuries described as not life-threatening.
Sala Coffee and Wine remains closed while repairs are made.
The business has launched a GoFundMe campaign to help support its staff during the closure.
